    Hi Guys
Just wondering if anyone could help me with this lid
It is a late ckl sd. Liner and chinstrap look good to me but unsure about the decal. Under a loupe it looks good with silver metallic background. Decal has a fairly smooth finish, done the old fingernail and doesn't scrape off lol
    Any ideas??

    Hello everyone
I come from the UK and after serving in the army I started collecting and dealing in German militaria for the last 16 years.
My main interests are german helmets from ww2, I study all the reference books including Ludwig Baer which I find fascinating.
My collection is growing and I am hoping to improve my knowledge from the forum

Welcome Matteus. Always great to have another helmet collector on board

    Matteus,

You should repost your question and photos in the link provided below. Photos are blocked in this section of the forum to regular members.

But from what I can see, the decal looks like a "round bottom" fake. The liner looks suspicious as well.
