    Hey Guys,
I got these a while back as a pair from a vets yard sale . I know on is a ww1 vet organization stick pin. It is silver wash on what appears to be copper/brass. Very well worn. The second Seems to be early 1927 pattern Nazi party stick pin. I seems to be made of silver. Has nice detail.my question is this party stick pin authentic and what is its correct name for it?Thanks Gents

The first looks like a National Sozialistische Deutscher Marine Bund pin. Adler facing to the left rather than right on most Nationalsozialistische-Reichskriegerbund pins. And the 2nd looks like a 1927 pattern NSDAP pin. I would say both are genuine, but wait for confirmation from the experts. It is an aufschlagnadel - lapel pin. If silver it would normally be marked with silver content on the back, like 800.

Al is spot on. The one pin is, indeed, a Nationalsozialistischer Deutscher Marinebund ( NSDMB ) pin and the other is an early and fairly desirable 1927 pattern NSDAP-as can be seen by the nicely clipped tips on the swastika legs. If they were reasonably priced, you've picked up 2 very nice little pins! I also agree that the one is not silver. By law, they had to be marked for silver content, but little matter. It is a very decent stickpin!

Sorry, but the first one is not for the NSDMB, but for the Soldatenbund.

The NSDMB eagle was very similiar, except that it was gold-colored and featured an anchor in addition to the swords.

See posts # 15 and 18 of this thread:
    Why the difference in eagles?

Good eyes! I could have sworn there was an anchor there, but looking close at it, you're right! Nice catch! In any case, the prize of the 2 is the early NSDAP but both pins are quite a nice pickup!

    HPL2008 is right of course.

The party eagle is marked as Gustav Brehmer, as far as I can see.
With Aufschlagnadel is meant Anstecknadel of course??

The term Aufschlagnadel is correct, Wim.

"Aufschlag" means "lapel" (although nowadays, the term "Revers" is more commonly used), thus:

Anstecknadel = stickpin (referring to the pin's attachment method)
Aufschlagnadel = lapel pin (referring to the way it is worn)

Yes, I know the pin is for the lapel and so Aufschlag, but I was a bit confused
as in regulations they practically always speak about Anstecknadel or
    simply as Nadel.

I did not have time today to look for a sample of an announcement, but here
is one and so there are many of them to be found. The word Aufschlagnadel
is not mentioned, as far as I have seen:

Thanks guys, I am very happy not only was the price great but I searched a while and was unable to find any decent examples of the 1927 patter stick pin. This is why I love the forum help when needed most! Thanks guys
