The Winterhilfswerk (WHW, Eng. "Winter Relief" —literally "winter help work") was an annual drive by the Nationalsozialistische Volkswohlfahrt (the National Socialist People’s Welfare Organization) to help finance charitable work. Its slogan was "None shall starve nor freeze". The drive was originally set up under the government of Heinrich Brüning in 1931, though Hitler would later claim sole credit. It ran from 1933-1945 during the months of October through March, and was designed to provide food, clothing, coal, and other items to less fortunate Germans during the inclement months.

These are relatively inexpensive items to collect but I appreciate the historical value and fun to collect as well.

2. February 5 to 6, 1938. Title: "Uniform and history". Total of 12
2.1 German soldier 1916, value 9 EUR
3. November 5 to 6, 1938. Title:"Dressing of Ostmark". Total of 20
3.1 Niederdonau (Lower danube), value 3 EUR
3.2 Oberdonau (Upper danube),value 3 EUR

Collecting WHW can be very expensive. Some things can rise up to some 200-300 EUR. I know only one ! big collection in europe. This guy got more than 4000 pices in his collection
