Here a standard samplecard of Walter Demmer, a manufacturer from Lüdenscheid. It is the pin for SA Westphalia-meeting, held on Juli 8.-9., 1933 in Dortmund. This pin comes in 5 !!! different models.
1. Altgold = no shiny gold
2. Altsilber = no shiny silver
3. Altbronce = no shiny bronce
4. Altkupfer = no shiny copper
5. Schwere Ausführung = heavy and solid
If anybody like to get this card. It is on an actual auction.
Hello Peter
How very interesting and thankyou for the images. As you say, variants by the finish.
I have never seen a makers sample card in relation to one or two day event badges before, although I suppose that it does clearly demonstrate the quality of the work and of course, the different obverse finishes available. Is the top badge "neutral", insofar as base metal without a finish?

David
