Any member collecting SA "meeting"/"event" pins ?
I wonder, are any members collecting SA specific "meeting", "day" and/or "event", pin badges ?
If so, could they be posted, as I for one would be most interested ?
Regards,
David
p.s.
just cannot bring myself to use what I think is the derogative and quite inaccurate term of "tinnie". Understandable though when you consider that "Tagungs und Veranstaltungsabzeichen" is perhaps something of a mouthful !!

Re: Any member collecting SA "meeting"/"event" pins ?
Hi David,
Here's a start. I have a number of this "SA Badges" here are two I have too hand. SA Brigade Appell 87 operating out of Schwaben, commemorates - day meeting 25 Nov 1934, an early group, reorganized away by 1935. Also a Standarte 20 Kempten badge part of another Schwaben Bridage the 86th.
Cheers

Re: Any member collecting SA "meeting"/"event" pins ?
Hello Alec
Thankyou for "starting the ball rolling".
A super pair of pins and I think that the "Standarte 20 Kempten" in particular, has a most impressive design.
Look forward to seeing more from your collection and I will try and post some of mine within the next few days.
Anybody else with SA meeting/event pins to show?
Regards,
David

Re: Any member collecting SA "meeting"/"event" pins ?
Thanks Tom - greatly appreciated.
As you know, SA buckles are my forte, however I have always collected the odd SA pin out of curiosity if nothing else. Perhaps these meeting, day and event pins were once neglected by the collecting community and as such were "under valued" - although I now think no more if we look at some of the prices being asked and readily met.
Here are four more of mine.
Regards,
David
