DSVB STATE SHOOTING ASSOCIATION AWARD. (Standsch?tzenverband-auszeichnung) A 53mm diameter, stamped bronze or bronze-washed alloy award with enamel detailing. Its obverse features a stylized, spread-winged eagle, in red enamel, with a spray of green enameled laurels to either side of its head, and with a white enameled, circular target in its talons, against which is a mobile swastika, and beneath which are embossed sprays of oak leaves. The concentric circles and the swastika to the target, as well as the articulations to the eagle and laurels, are gold colored. Encircling all of that is "19" and "39" embossed to either side of "Tiroler" (Tyrolean - referring to an area in western Austria) along the top, and "Landesschiessen" (Country-shooting) along the bottom. To its reverse, crimped to a brazed plate, is a horizontal pin-back device, beneath which is embossed the manufacturer?s name, "A.G. & Co.," and location, "M?nchen" (Munich).
I have had this one for a while and have not seen another, except photos.
