Gentlemen, I would appreciate your review and thoughts on authenticity of this larger gold ? breast eagle ?? kreigsmarine for officer?? It is made from a light eight material. As always, many thanks.

This is a summer tunic breast eagle for Kriegsmarine.
J. C. Maedicke produced 2 different variants of this bird. The first type had diamond shaped breast feathering and a flimsier wrap around pin. Yours is the second version with spearhead shaped breast feathering and the massive pin.
