I am in doubt if this is an original or reproduction, I am about to buy it, but I am in doubt ?

Suffice it to say that the Stahlhelm didn't even exist anymore in 1938...

HPL2008, that is the correct answer. Most people apparently do not
understand the "Bund" did not exist anymore after November 7, 1935.
They had to disband and to liquidate (this last took some years).
Members were asked to join the Deutscher Reichskriegerbund (Kyffhäuser).

Yes, I didnt use the time to google the "Bund", the "Bund" ceased to exist in 1935
