Guys,

I bought this as a copy, it lacks detail, it has bits picked out in thread but over all is lacking IMO, someone has gone to some effort though so why get it wrong? What bothers me is it doesn't glow up. If it is right bonus if it is wrong then they won't be far off soon.

How big is that thing Jock, it looks huge. Would it have gone on an overcoat or something like that?

Lower left arm sleeve eagle.

I'm still not keen on it but it was not a great deal of money.

Some one has put a bit of effort into it though, probably child labour from a third world country?

Don't jump at this being a fake.
I am aware of a whole bunch of these identical shields which turned up in one of the old embassies in Holland with several diplomatic tunics, paperwork etc when renovations were being done and parts of the building being emptied.
