I can't ID it offhand, but it's definitely not military.
The design looks like some kind of stylized technical drawing; I have the gut feeling that it is a corporate logo. Perhaps this is some kind of factory workers' badge.
Not one that I recognise either sorry.

Badge looks like 2 sheets of steel being rivetted together in an art deco style ! would be interesting to know when Herman Aurich closed (if it has) that would maybe help pin down the era. Regards Paul
