Hello, I recently came across a couple of pins at a flea market of all places, and I wanted to know If this one specifically looked authentic.
I apologize in advance for the poor pictures.

Not sure if it shows up too well in the picture, but it has 36 stamped on it, although it looks misaligned.
Thanks, sorry if I posted this in the wrong section.

    I don't like it - it is a fake/fantasy piece, IMO.........

Original badges had an alligator clip that was secured horizontally by two rivets of which the heads showed through the front of the badge. This one has the coffin shaped pin that is seen on 99% of modern fake badges, it is not period. Two original badges, one of this design and a smaller triangular one that were both corroded due to being ground dug were sold at Bonhams in 2010 for $3,335.
