Hitler 1933 Pin
Please forgive me for posting this as I know there are countless threads on this type of pin. Having recently purchased it I made the mistake of researching after receiving the item. Can you please just put me out of my misery so I may go into the corner of the room and rock back and forth in disgrace.

The 'coffin' shaped pin plate is a red flag to me at least. I would say it's not original. Not an expert so take my opinion with a grain of salt.

It's not a total loss. Even with fakes, you learn something from the experience. You'll never be tripped up by this type of pin again, and your next one is almost certain to be genuine. Tuck this pin away in a drawer somewhere, and one day you'll be able to take it out again, look at it and laugh.

Do t feel to bad I got burned on a 500 dollar item years ago I still have ot and look at it every now and then just to remind myself to research something before you buy
I've got my eye on this one that's coming up - ticks all the boxes from other threads i've seen. At the back the pin itself seems to have been re-soldered on at some point. Don't know if this could indicate a red herring.
