Makes me think of goering and his animal experiments for a perfect Germanic bull.

I believe it was Goering who "placed" himself in charge of the Jagermeister league.

This cap came with this badge pinned to it. It is very close to the Jagerneister liquor bottle insignia.

Goering loved his hunting, he loved animals too. There's footage of him talking to one of his pet lions named Caesar.

This is not a medal but a membership pin in the German Hunting Association, the Deutcher Jaeger Verbund. The association has been in existance since the mid 19th century. Goring was the official head of this organization. The insignia is still in use today less the swastika.
