Default Nazi Party Plaque - Identification Help

Has anyone seen one of these plaques before? I am having a bit of trouble identifying it as it seems to have no markings on the plaque or the case. For all I know it is a fake, I just don`t know.

The plaque reads "das höchste gut des mannes ist sein volk"

    Thanks in advanced!

Stahlhelm or Steel Helmet was a right wing nationalist group of German ex-military members founded in 1918, after the Nazis came to power this group was absorbed by the SA/SS- it was officially dissolved in 1935.

I agree with Horst, as a bit of searching turned up the same saying on WWI Veteran's Memorials in Goldenstein-now Branna in CzechRepublic, and in the German town of Siegen as well...
    cheers, Glenn

It almost looks as if the swastika was added at a later date, it's not a particularly good fit covering the script really is it???

But if that's the case it beggars the question when was this done, in period or post war???

    Regards, Ned.
