Wow! It is really nice tunic and these are pretty rare. Thank you for share it with us
This correct visor is really nice add for the display. Did it come with the tunic?

For the official 3 Reich German name for Senior instructor I do not have knowledge, but Hauptlehrer sounds correct.
NS Ordensburgen is a subject which do not have so much literature, as far as I know...

Yes, you are right. You can't even find any Word in the several Organisationsbooks (1937-43) about which Rank the Shoulder Boards of the Ordensburgführer are indicating. And the Tunics are really rare. Especially the higher Ranks are very rare or even extremely rare. The Visor didn't come with the Tunic, I bought it seperately. Normally Ordensburg Visor are darker brown colored as the other Political Leader Visors, just like the Tunic. But my Informations say, that this Visor is for Political Leaders of Ordensburg Vogelsang, as I said before. You can see it at the lemon colored Piping, indicating Ordensburg Level.

And it is really interesting why it is like that. I have copy of 1937 Organisationsbuch and there is almost nothing about NS Ordensburgen.

Yes I know. I have the original 1940 and a copy of the 1943 Organisationsbuch. Also the National Socialist Jahrbuch 1940, there is almost nothing in it. All other Political Leader Uniforms are accurately described and illustrated. How to wear them according to the occasion, what Gloves, Boots and Trousers and so on. The Ranks and Positions are also explained in detail and shown graphically. But nothing of this sort about the Ordensburg Uniforms or the Ranks and Rank Insignia of the Political Leaders of the Ordensburgs. Only two illustrations of a Fuehreranwaerter and a Stammfuehrer and from Page 183 (Organisationsbuch 1943) general explanations, but they really don't help you if you want to learn something about the Ranking System. It's a bit surprising and frustrating at the same time.

I visited Vogelsang in about 2006 just after the Belgian Army handed it back to the German Government. Before Belgium, it was in the hands of the British until the 1950's if memory of the tour serves me correctly. At the time, there wasn't much on display, but you got the sense of how large the whole complex was. Vogelsang was one of I think 3 or 4 Ordensburgen scattered throughout the Reich to train future leaders in how to administer occupied countries
