i woul say a fake item why have ss runes on a jewish badge? i dont like the style of marking ither!

Hey there,

Take a look at this. It looks like it may be a cap pin for the Warsaw ghetto. German AWARDS, military, Cross, Orders, Medals, Badges, WW2 and WW1 militaria

IMO, i don't like the looks of yours, though. It looks to me like a modern repro, but wait for others' opinions.

I have looked into it a little further, and i am sure that at least the back of it is fake due to the SS runes stamp. no others even have a back that looks like that, or any stamps.

Looks to me like the SS runes are on the backing nut and could have been on something else. It is likely that many devices for caps used the same thread pattern. Is it me or would that backing nut be to large for a hat that did not have a lot of body to it.

Sorry to be blunt, but this is junk.

Polish made fantasy item.

Very few screwback badges were made in the Third Reich. None were marked like this one.
