Hey castle sorry based off this thread I'd say it not good either imo. Best regards.

Police gorget, assmann marked
i checked the deeter odgard book and the eagle is larger and covers more of the front..wow this is a good fake..ill stay away from these. depressing how good the fakes have gotten..thanks tom
Of course fake. Not even a good fake. Here the eagle for the Cartouche was used.
Originals do have a somewhat larger eagle. You immediately do recognize the differences.
I discussed them in my gorget-book.

Here a page from my gorget-book in German.
The above photo is from an original gorget from mr. Andrew Mollo;
the drawing is from a 1939 plate from police uniforms and insignia:
Compare the wreath and eagle with this one to the fake one shown!
Have a look at the difference for the inner opening/wings/wreath:
Thank you Wim! For the clarification. And for sharing the pictures and images from your gorget book. Hope you are feeling better! Kindest regards.

the backplate with assman mark appear original.. the eagle is real too just not used on gorgets.. appears to be a made up piece using period non correct parts. if you did not know originals you could be taken in.. thats why i posted for opinions before buying this
The tang with marking is in a wrong position anyway
for a police gorget.
The marking from the shown backplate seems not good
too me either, comparing with Assmann markings and
its position. The backplate is possible not correct either.
