RAD Unit insignia patch 353 / 7

Hey guys, here’s another patch i got recently. A uncut RAD unit insignia patch for 353-7 which i think would belong to the Wien-Niederdonau part (if you can expand on what the numbers denote please say!)

Quite a nice patch. RAD stuff has a really nice aesthetic to it. At least to me it does.

I have included a group photo with my small RAD collection.

RAD-Abteilung 7/353 was based at Kürnberg in Lower Austria, but was already disbanded again in April 1939. Its commander was Oberstfeldmeister Albert Pavlu.

The staff of RAD-Gruppe 353 was seated at Waidhofen an der Ybbs in Lower Austria; it was subordinate to Arbeitsgau XXXV Wien-Niederdonau [= Vienna - Lower Danube].
