    Hello everyone.

Could someone help with the authenticity of the brooch please. This is not my area of collecting, so any help or corrections are appreciated!

From research I think this is a Reichsarbeitsdienst weibliche Jugend brooch, which is marked J.B.u.Co for Julius Bauer & Co.

Unfortunately I am one of the rare people who doesn't own a smart phone and my USB microscope has decided to die, so these are the best photos I can provide.

    Kind regards,

    Will.

The pinback device looks correct (not like those used on photo albums). Mine is marked the same so I say a nice original one.

    Hi Gwar, thank you.

Once I had an idea what the brooch was, I did an internet search using J.B.u.Co maker mark and found the name Julius Bauer & Co on a dealer website. Am I correct with the makers name.

    Kind regards,

    Will.

It could also be Joseph Bergs & Co.

    Ralph.
I too have Joseph Bergs & Co., I can't say 100% and have no evidence to back up the claim..
