Reichsbund der Deutschen Beamten pin badge
I have only found a couple of these pins on the internet and both have different markings on the back. This National Union of the German Officials pin is only $43 and is described as being in excellent condition and well marked on the reverse "1/14" attributed to the maker "Matthew Oescbsler & son". 23mm wide. Does anyone have a reference book to ascertain whether this is a legit maker?
Thank you in advance.

Hi Nic,
Can't help you with the maker, but I like what I see in those pics.

As I have never handled one of these, I only have one concern. I would not consider this group having any insignia coming under the control of The Reichszugmeiterei. I would question the legitimacy of the marking. I will ask Freidrich Berthold to weigh in on this.

Re: Reichsbund der Deutschen Beamten pin badge
The organization was sub branch of the NSDAP for Nazis in the civil service and also, surely, to nazify the civil service and otherwise subject it to Gleichschaltung as at the time of its foundation in 1933. There is a a Wikipedia article about the organization, but I also own a nice almanach from the year 1935 which describes its roles and functions; such would also be in the Organisationsbuch, too.
