Hi all!
Is this original TR period reichspost collar tabs?
Thank you!
Is the material darkblue or black velvet?
And is the inner stitching golden colored?
Velvet is black color, the stiching is tarnished silver.
Could it be it is very, very dark-blue (nearly looking black) and the stitching is gilt,
but with a patina.
If so, the collar patch could be TR and is meant for a Postassistent. The size, according
regulation should be 3.5 x 6 cm.
The gilt stars are the version as used in the later 1930's.
Here the collar-patch from 1932 in contrary to the version from 1939. Note the change
from five-pointed start into the "square" version was September 1936. Before 1932
the Reichsadler was included.
I do not have any idea what was used after the war.
The included photo is from a Postschaffner, who does not have the special stitching.
The other photos shows the five pointed star (credit: Hanlon)
In the FRG, collar patches with a posthorn that merely identified the career group and were eventually discontinued altogether, while the GDR still used detailed rank insignia.
See:

FRG: MSPT: Sammlungen online - Sammlung | Suche (Do a search for Kragenspiegel; a direct link to the object doesn't work.)
So, like this?
The horn was also used during the TR period by foreign postal employees
from Belgium and the Netherlands. It is not known too me what device
they did wear with the collar-patches, but a horn could be a possibility!
Look for the postal wreath, which was used during the Weimar and TR-
period, with cockade.

Thank you for your answers!
Size is correct, seems to be a TR set for the rank I did describe.
