This is the insignia of a SA mann attached to the 11th Reserve Sturm, Standarte 260. The silver button on the shoulder strap would indicate this standarte was attached to SA Gruppe Berlin-Brandenburg. The insignia is of the type worn between 1933 and 1939.

This is for Niedersachsen, headquarters at Walsrode.
    Brown is not for Berlin-Brandenburg.

    Hi wim-
They look black on my monitor. Sorry for any misleading information.

What a difference a monitor can make. For me it is clearly a darker-brown.
This should be, as in an adress-list from July 1, 1937 it is noted 260 exists
in the group of Niedersachsen, being a part for brigade 60. They were located
in the Niedersachsenhaus at Walsrode (Langestrasse). During the war they
were located at the Am Mühlenweg.
According color-lists for the SA Niedersachsen had darker-brown.

I see a slightly faded black as well on both of my monitors.

Could be, but Niedersachsen did not use black.
