Hi
This SA Standartenfuhrer collar patch has a celleon oakleaf and (tarnished) wire acorns.
Would the slightly mothed red backing (not greatly represented by the digital photo) and red cord edging make it from HQ Staff?
Many thanks
J.

It would indicate a standartenfuhrer attached to his Gruppe Staff. The gilt color indicates he is from a Gruppe that wore gilt buttons.

Thanks, Bob.
Would the use of Celleon (celluon) mean it is an early or late patch, and were metal oakleaves used before/after or at the same time as this?
Cheers,
J.
