Veterans armband NS-RKB sewn strange need help

Picked this up along with a pre war HJ armband multi piece construction and both of them are seen together in the back in a way I have never seen before. Search the forums and haven’t seen another like this and find it strange both came from the same “dealer”. Neither of them glow and the HJ was vetted and the consensus was that it’s good on here. any input would be greatest appreciated.

I think this one is fine. The stitching and pattern on the back may suggest that it was sewn this way with extra fabric as a reinforcement since these were worn quite often and the material would "stretch" due to wearing on the arm/sleeve.

Looks like a nice one in my opinion.
