Authentic armband or not?

Article about: A strange question, perhaps, but if an armband is not made of "wool or cloth material either", then what would it be made of? I don't recall ever seeing any leather, paper or metal

    Default Authentic armband or not?

This armband said 100% money back guarantee for authenticity so I assumed it was real. If they don't have RZM tags or stamps, are they fake? Just wanted some advice from the experts on here! Please and thank you (:

This one is fine, not all of these armbands where produced with RZM tags as different companies made them

A nice period original cotton kampfbinde. The paper RZM tags can come off-especially on worn examples such as yours. Welcome to the Forum.

this would only be true with pieces made prior to 1933 and RZM oversight. A manufacturer would have to apply a sample to the Reichszugmeisterei for approval and if approved, they would be issued a manufacturer's code number. The label was a tax to the NSDAP so it would be very unwise to try to manufacture anything political without first obtaining permission.

It is a common cotton example which would have had a "B" code RZM label. Wool examples had a "D" RZM code.
