Authentic NSDAP Armband?

Hello everyone. I mainly collect British, and even more specifically mainly Scottish regiment militaria, that being said I do collect the odd WWII German thing. Please bear with me as I have a minimal at best knowledge of German militaria.

This arrived in the mail yesterday, I think this is a NSDAP Armband and to me it looks original period, came from a Scottish dealer in Inverness. I would greatly appreciate any help in both the armband's authenticity and if it is a NSDAP armband or something else.
