Bread and Butter Party Armband

Hello all.
I have a wool party armband. Complete with a few moth nips.
Obviously the red wool (which is almost felt like) is one piece sewn together at the back as expected.
The white roundel is cotton I believe as are the (two?) pieces making the Swastika. All has aged nicely but my only concern is the stitching method. Is it too modern or is it a period piece?

Just noticed a small square box written on the inside?
Tailors measure or cloth cutters mark?
Also the remainder of what looks to be brown thread. Perhaps it has been sewn on originally?
