This is my first sewn not painted armband and any comments would be great. I have always wanted a sewn one for my collection but I know these are highly faked. Thanks for the help.

Well there is really no need to test this armband in any way. It is original as already stated by Bob & John.

Regarding home tests. There are two basic things. The "blacklight", which we have talked about before (do a search if you did not read about it) and the "burn test". John has written about this again on the forum if you do a search. The blacklight is far from positive, but the burn test is a little more conclusive.

Study original examples as often as possible. It is also important to learn who to listen to and who to ignore. There is no substitute for knowledgable experience
