    1. UV test is outdated and not always reliable

    2. Post a better photo of the RZM tag that isn't obscured in darkness and not small so the details can be seen

    3. A quick Google search shows RZM M4/2 to be Martin Winter of Munchen. You can literally learn how to read RZM codes on this forum or Google.

The RZM 'M4' allocation was for buckle manufacturers, I believe system for cloth armbands had a 'Hersteller' number for resale..

Each maker, i.e. Hersteller had a license number
The RZM exacted a series of fees, which others wrongly call "taxes," and the tags each cost a minimal amount, which is or is not indicated by the large letter on the left side.
Each RZM had a serial number, as well.

    RZM A - Ausrustung / Outfitting
RZM -B Baumwolle / Cotton and fabrics
    RZM - D Dienstkleidung / Service clothing
    RZM - E Einzelhandel / Retail trade
    RZM - G Grosshandel / Wholesale
    RZM - H Handelsvertreter / Trade representatives
    RZM - K Kleidereinzelhandel / Retail clothing
    RZM - L Leder / Leather
    RZM - M Metall / Metal
RZM - V Verkaufstellen / Retail outlets...also worked in conjunction with RZM E
    RZM - W Wolle / Wool

I'm going to challenge that based on the examples on this site: WWII GERMAN ARMBANDS PROCE GUIDE - MilitaryItems.com

"The RZM tags display the RZM logo in one corner followed buy the word Berfteller. The next line has the character M4 printed. A blue ink stamp follows. This is the manufacturer code."

Following that logic his has to be M4/2.

    Tax codes don't equal manufacturers.

The blue ink stamp code that follows the M4 on this armband is a three digit number, ending in a 2, the other numbers are discernible to me.
If you follow the RZM code link on the page that you linked to, it shows that M4/2 is Martin Winter of Munchen, a buckle manufacturer.

akriener, the link you have provided is more or less correct,
your interpretation is flawed, logic does not replace facts.
I would suggest that you utilize the search engine provided to members
and observe past threads concerning the RZM ( Reichszeugmeisterei) , G
