Offered here is a 1933 Nazi NSDAP Victory Pin.

As you can see from the photos the badge is in beautiful condition. It measures 4 cm across and has wonderful enameling.. red and green with green Victory Wreaths SIEG HEIL in bold letters on the red and a black enameled swastika on white enameling.

The back has a working screw pin fastener.

Would agree that this 100% fakery, and a fantasy badge also. I expect the enamelling of party badges and their ilk to be translucent with the dimpled pattern of the metal underneath evident. This enamel looks opaque. The pin fastener is also not consistent with period badges.

As a VERY general rule of thumb, avoid any German Third Reich badges with screw back fitings. These were generally reserved for private purchase awards, like EKI's etc.

Yes, but a beautifull one still... Originals are great, but this fake ítems looks amazing near the other ones... it´s all about the looks meanwhile u know it´s a fake one.

I hv a fake gold bar between my real 3rd Reich money (silver coins and bills) coz I know there´s no way i can find or afford a real one!!! LOL

I too started collecting with that mindset, buying fakes/repros thinking I would never get the real deal, but after a few years at it I found that the good stuff has a way of finding its way to you without having to go out and look.
Although some fake/fantasy badges look cool, there's absolutely no better feeling than knowing the artifact in your hands actually dates from the period of history you have an interest in.
To each his own, I guess.

This is a 3 year old fake badge thread and the badge looks very poorly made, you surprise me. I could understand the gold bar thing due to the cost, but this one is just bad.
