NSDAP Goldenes Parteiabzeichen.

Advise sought on pair of gold party badges numbered 20454. I was wondering where I might be able to find further info on these and or what more experienced members of this subject thought of the items?

i am confused, it looks like both badges have same # on back.20454.i dont know if that would be normal. dont know much about.see what the other guys think.

one is a 25mm Fuse, the other a 35mm Deschler.

It is a big and a small golden party badge. They had the same number because the golden party badge were issued in pair. I don´t know if they always were issued in pairs but often they were.

The larger badge, the 30.5mm version, was worn on the unifrom whilst the smaller 24mm version was for wear on civilian clothing. Hitler, had badge number 1 which eventually was presented to Magda Goebbels before he died. The badges were marked with the NSDAP member's number on the reverse and were only manufactured by the two Munich based companies named above, i.e. Deschler und Sohn and Joseph Fuess.
