Not that well versed when it comes to these late-war types but I don't like what I'm seeing. Never seen a buttonhole attachment like that, plus I'm not getting a good feeling when it comes to the paint on the obverse --- especially not compared to the condition of the reverse (back). Oh, there's also seemingly (?) no rzm mark... I'd leave it alone.
This maker did a buttonhole and rivets like that.
Often they had an RZM mark, but not always.
I like it.
Cheers, Ade.

Aaah, well.. something new learned today then, first I've seen like this--- thanks for the correction, Ade!
Just added on that last picture, was that the mark you were talking about Slados??
Do you know the name of the maker Ade?
Thanks.
That was the mark I was talking about, yes.. thanks! As you can see a few replies up I was corrected and this actually appears to be a good one... can't have been many makers utilizing this type of buttonhole attachment.
These badges and the virtual cornucopia of variations never seize to amaze and surprise me!
Manufacturer: Kerbach & Israel (later changed to Kerbach & Oesterhelt)

Comparing to another example I just found it's obvious that the font utilized in the makers mark "M1/42" and the design of the rzm also matches up nicely. Thanks to Ade once again for clearing this one up!
It is a good badge as Ade said, but is it possible that the white section, at least, was redone at some stage? Not normal to see the white paint spilling over into the black of the swastika.
Tom
Thanks fellas!
