Shipping from the US cost me $45 through the pre-order... as mentioned, it's a big one..
And, Dave: thanks for the info!
Congrats, Jo! I will definitely purchase a copy. I take pride in supporting forum members who author reference books. Where do we get signed copies??
great looking book. I am going to get one.
thanks,
john
I specialize in M1 carbines and Lugers.
Well short of actually ordering the book ( when I guess they will add on the shipping cost) There is no info at the publishers. I am sure there used to be.

This is a field of study that, as far as I know, has never had a serious attempt to document. Years ago, a party badge was a party badge. No one understood the many variations available. At a time in life where I do not find the need for new reference material, this book will be an exception for me. I will look forward to receiving a copy.

LIFE'S LOSERS NEVER LEARN FROM THE ERROR OF THEIR WAYS.
It's the last day of August, pre-order special of $100. I just ordered my copy. Good luck with sale, Jo!
$48.- postage sure is heavy, i know. I will try and convince B&D Publishing to adopt the standard auction policy.
•20% Extra on the final sales price
•$100.- shipping and handling.
Of course the paid postage will only be $48.- but thats how you make money - were one in the game of wanting to make money, that is.
No, if collectors have got the extra $599.- for one of Snyders fantasy SS badges, then they have the $48.- that the US airmail will charge the publishers.
On a side-note. The above is all off the top of my head, and i mean it. I have nothing to do with book now at all, everything is handled by B&D Publishing in the US. So i dont actually know that the book is 3 kilos heavy, i mean i think it should be, but they could very well have split it up into a "Series of..", into 100 volumes, each one being 6 pages long and costing , effectively, only $1,99 to post... If there is one thing i have learned in life, it is that anything is possible.
