Just wanted opinions on this party badge.

The pin has been removed and it was once glued to something so there's residue on the back, but hopefully the images are enough for an accurate opinion. I just don't like the lack of red pebbling on the front and a few lines on the swastika metal border are irregular or thin, so that's why I'm suspect.

Go for it! It's in a very nice condition even without the attachment.

I thought it was fake. The red pebbling is very soft, and many swastika lines are poorly done and thin in places.

Not a good one imo, The enameling is sunken & the general quality is nowhere near what I would expect from a premier maker like Deschler to produce ,Regards Paul

I thought towards the end of the war quality did vary, some i believe were even hand painted.

On images 2 and 3.. the metal edge on the corner of the swastika strikes me as way too thinned and hence badly made and a fake.

Not a good one IMO, i agree with everything Paul said. Enamel looks off, the swaztika aswell, on all the Deschlers i've seen (even on early ones) the swaz reach the border to the red enamel. The swaz looks thin in some places and thick in some. Those irregularities puts me off big time. Especially when it's a Deschler!
