Ok, the pin mount doesn't look like coffin, that would be the first indication....how about rest?

That one is real, although the pin catch is broken. I haven't seen a fake painted Party badge yet, but that doesn't mean that they don't exist.
The one in post #35 is a terribly crude fake, aged to look
ground dug and more 'convincing'. Nothing is right
with it - not the pin or any of the markings.
As said, the late-war badge above is genuine, but much
less desireable with a broken pin. These are still plentiful
so hold off - wait and find a better one.........

Steve.
All right...... you guys are awesome. With that being said, if you would have a nsdap golden badge but in good condition with some enamel chipped it can go for up to $2500?
How about this one......... (this will be interesting).
Again, the quality is so poor - the badge has been beaten
up and abused to look 'authentic' - I vote 'NO'.........!
Regards,
Steve.
Wow.....your good.

Wow.....your good.
Both GPB are fakes. The second is done slightly better but still a poor fake.

In this world there's two kinds of people, my friend. Those with loaded guns, and those who dig. You dig. CE
