My first Kettendolch by E.P.&S. (chained NSKK by E.P.&S.)
Last weekend i picked up this beauty, had to drive 500km in total and suffered some major traffic jams, in fact i lost my entire saturday on the trip, but i think it was well worth it!
this is a NSKK chained dagger by Ernst Pack.
i love the grip, it has a kind of horizontal tiger stripes, best seen in full sunlight, but thats hard to photograph!
The grip has an almost perfect fit to the cross guards.
It has a great scabbard with nickel fitting instead of the usual chrome plated ones, and has almost all of its paint in good condition, the Chain is RZM marked with the NSKK muster marks, its chrome plated steel.
The blade is amazing, it still has its original full cross grain on both sides.
I bought it right from the daughter of the Vet, she mentioned that there are also pictures of him in NSKK uniform wearing a 7x50 Fieldstecher ( binoculars ) they will try to dig up the pictures, but they are not sure if her sister still has them.
Her mom trew away his Desk Eagle with ink set, when her husband died , some 20 years ago.
This set with a SA dagger by Axe und Hauerfabrik, this NSKK dagger was found 3 years ago when her mother died, when they cleaned out the house, prop. she never found the hidden box in the attic.
Hope you enjoy the pictures
