Parts dagger its all over the place ....check inside the guards to see what if it has a foundry mark the letter "S" within a Horseshoe
Ernst Pack is not know to have "Oe" gruppe mark and I can see by the grip fit ..its not.
Scabbard is a repaint

Hi Larry, thanks for your comment. I send photos the guards.
So is it a folded dagger from original pieces?
The guards maker P A are Eickhorn or Wusthof?
Regards Jirka
Hi Jirka ...PA marked guards are generic and used by many SA producers . These type guards were produced from an outside source and widely used.
Although it is documented and observed that Eickhorn and Ernst Pack used these guards....in regards to Ernst Pack ...I have never seen PA marked guards on their daggers.
Ernst Pack had that straight across look to their guards ...which this guard does not and is proven that it is marked PA.
They are always marked with the letter "S" inside of a Horseshoe icon.
Ed Wustoff is not listed as having used outsourced PA guards ...yet Carl Wustoff is listed.
The "Oe" marked guard is authentic and rare ...but there are only 3 producers that used "Oe" ...which Ed Wustoff was the main sourse...Eickhorn being a very slim secondary ..and Johann Leupold being observed. The Pie chart seen in the Gruppe marks threaad here shows "Oe' being a very small production run >

That 'Oe" guard you have I have no documentation other than Leupold where it could of came from.
Yet...as I stated before...total parts dagger with a mid period scabbard and current repaint.

Thanks, I'll have to look for a better one. A good NSKK dagger is hard to find.
