NSKK dagger by SMF
blade has lots of Original grain, nice dark Motto & Logo, a little bit greying but overall a great blade.
The lower alu guard fits perfectly to the throat, and also fits great to the grip.
Grip has been painted black once, traces can be found on the grip and on the eagle.
Grip has a little skrinking, also seen on the copper eagle, wing tips have been under pressure.
The top alu guard has a tiny pressure crack caused by a to tight nut.
Scabbard is dent free and has most of its paint and has nickel fittings.
Nice thing about the rare ALU guards: they dont have any chrome plating loss, like lots of RZM daggers have.
The 3 piece hanger is a rare one to find, nicely marked with the Luneschloss "sonnenrad" Hakenster, and matches the period the daggers been produced.
This dagger aint perfect but it has tons of character, and i realy like it.
Enjoy the pics.

That's a very nice dagger Ger! The overall look is just great. I love the grip and the aluminum gards make this one special. That hanger is beautiful too. Congretulations on this find

If it's "not perfect", it still looks good enough to Me! I particularly like the coppery grip eagle! A beautiful NSKK with Just enough touches of usage to it to let you know that it's "been there" and come Back! Nice find as always!
