80% Resin Star

I was really pleased with this star when I unwrapped it, lovely deep cherry red, then I noticed that one ray had been replaced...







Then it dawned on me that 4 rays were replaced...Ah well, as I've been reminded there are no ugly stars

Hello,
repairs on the orders of the red star are quite common especially for models awarded before the end of the war.
I asked a question "is what the orders were repaired at the Monetny Dwor?"
following an order that seems to have been repaired also (branch below right)

I think the higher awards might have been repaired at the mint but my one was certainly done at home by someone lucky enough to have resin nearby!

Hi,

" Monetny Dwor" do not repair.

The repairs were made by veterans.
" Monetny Dwor" replace lost orders as requested by the recipient. But all costs are paid by the owner that explains why there are some order bearing the word "duplicate".
