Short description of personal combat feat or accomplishment
During offensive operations on 11th December, 1944 near the village of Gedele, the squad under the capable command of its leader, attacked into the edge of the village in a surprise attack and became heavily engaged. As a result of superior combat, Comrade Peklov’s squad killed as many as 12 Hitlerites and captured 15 Hungarian soldiers, 13 rifles, and 2 machineguns. Comrade Peklov personally killed four enemy and captured three in this engagement.
He is deserving of the Order of the Red Star.
