They're kind of like EK's. You can't stop at just one. I have nine Red Stars, two researched (both long service) and have two others in the process of being researched. I really like the idea that you can find out about the person behind the award, unlike EK's which are totally anonymous for the most part.
i totally agree roger but i think for now i would like to be in posession of a few more eks, but i wouldnt mind a few more red stars in the future. another addiction!!!!!!!!!!

Auke provides an excellent researching service, so I'm sure he has a bunch of those researched! coolmilitaria
He has done two for me... an Artillery Major and a Political Commissar. If you luck out and the Red Star once belonged to an officer, chances are Auke can find his/her service record and provide you with a picture of the person!
