Short, concrete description of his feat of arms or accomplishments:
Comrade G.A. Badalyan has been serving in the Operational Army since February, 1943. While demining an area in the rear of the 2nd Ukrainian Front and in the Iaşi-Chisinau sector, he removed and deactivated 2424 mines under difficult working conditions, removing up to 130 mines a day. He is a disciplined and dutiful soldier who possesses a thorough understanding of mines and demolition.
During the breakthrough of the heavily fortified enemy defenses near the city of Iaşi, he took part in clearing and expanding passageways through minefields in order for the advancing Red Army units to pass through.
He deserves the Order of the Red Star.
