Short description of personal combat feat or accomplishment
During the regiment’s combat operations from 7.10.43 to 10.11.43 he accurately concentrated his mortars’ fire on an enemy objective. In combat for the villages of Tikhonovo, Raki, Borodushki and the village of Vitebsk Oblast he quickly suppressed firing positions and destroyed enemy personnel. On his platoon’s record are the following destroyed targets: two observation posts, a crossing, several bunkers, three light machine guns and up to 50 enemy soldiers and officers.
He is being recommended for the Order of the Red Star.
