Short description of personal combat feat or accomplishment
Corporal Zoloedov has been a participant of the Patriotic War since November 1941. As a private in the Western Front’s 34th Rifle Brigade Independent Anti-Tank Rifle Company he was seriously wounded by a bullet in the right arm during an attack on the village of Novaya, Torusskii Region, Tula Oblast on 29th December, 1941.
After recuperation he was returned to a 4th Army, 333rd Rifle Division, 1122nd Rifle Regiment submachinegun company where during the assault on Velish on 17th January, 1943 he received his second serious wound in the right shoulder.
After another release from the hospital he returned to the 2nd Baltic Front, 23rd Rifle Brigade, 3rd Battalion, 1st Company and near Novosokolniki he received his third serious wounded in the leg and was shell-shocked.
Since 26th September. 1944 he has served in the 3rd Frontal Technical Company and during this time has proved himself a disciplined, productive Red Army soldier.
Conclusion: For active participation in the Patriotic War in the struggle against the German invaders he is deserving of the Order of the Red Star.
