Very nice. I have always liked those buttonhole ribbon bows and -rolls. (See here for mine:

Nice combination, I've never seen this configuration of ribbon, would it be called a Bandrollen or something else?

Looking for LDO marked EK2s and items relating to U-406.....

No, this one would be classified as a Bandschleife [ribbon bow].

A Bandrolle [ribbon roll] would have the three miniature ribbons rolled up and next to one another, almost like a miniature ribbon bar.

    Thanks Andreas,
I wasn't sure as they look more rolled than bow shape.

Nice trio. I'm guessing this would be called a Bandschleife (Ribbon bow) as above.

    Yes; that's right.

By the way, it's of a type whose manufacture and sale was no more permitted by later regulations, which specified that no more than one ribbon was allowed to be worked into a Bandschleife (while a Bandrolle could hold up to three) and that a combination of miniature metal decorations/badges with a Bandschleife was not allowed.

[I don't know the date for these regulations, but the allowed and prohibited types of buttonhole miniatures are explained nicely in the final (1945!) edition of Dr. Doehle's "Die Auszeichnungen des Großdeutschen Reiches", which is available as a reprint.]
