Gentlemen, here is a Fallschirmjaeger Schutzen Abzeichen without the rear pin. I would appreciate your review and thoughts on authenticity please.

IMO not a good one . The eagle's squared off pupil at the top tells me this among other things .

Don't worry about the slightly different makers mark. Yours would be classified as a late war injection molded "Type I". Mine is a Type K. Otherwise originals of these variants are essentially the same.

I'm on the fence. But leaning towards it being bad. Clearer photos of the eagle would help.
