Bandenkampfabzeichen Case mystery ?

I have come across an Anti Partisan case i have never seen before. Photos attached
The inside base is padded velvet , the inside lid is padded & appears almost like silk , smooth but does have a weave to it but not 100%sure on that. The case itself is heavy duty card layered with some sort of fabric. It doesn't look new & has obviously been around for some time with evident wear spots but in saying that is in pretty good nick. If it is a fabricated piece they have gone to quite some effort & quite a few years ago. Im not concerned if it is fabricated but would love to know more about it & its history.

I know very little about these, but I always thought the cases were square with the Bandenkampfabzeichen written on the top of the case or in paper packets.

But wait for others for better info (that said, the case you show is IMHO not original).

Hey no need to be sorry , any idea when these came out because it looks like ( considering its condition & wear ) at least 20 maybe 30 years ago . Any idea where they first surfaced from ?

Highly possible it is that old. But neither hear nor there. TR items have been faked all the way back to the 1940's, so some of them are as old as the originals.

being offered for sale at ten quid last year. Anyway, this n o t the way the cases of the Bandenkampfabzeichen were made and looked like.

It is appreciated & this forum has responded with pleasant replies to my innocent question & not like some other forums which i wont bother with in the future from comments that came back with the same question. We try hard to be different here. And the "wife" quote is 100% true. The other quote is true as well
