Blood Order (Ger. Blutorden) .......... Numbers?

Hello .. Just a question about Blood Order (Ger. Blutorden) .. It is my understanding that there were less than 6000 awarded ... And they were individually numbered. Are there records of who was issued each medal?

Any help would be appreciated !!!

There is a list of first issue awards, I think Ade has it. Hopefully he'll see this thread and can help you out.

Sadly this number is not on the list.

I do have the listings for all first issue blood orders. 2nd issues are not listed.

There were only about 4200 Blood Orders awarded. The names are known on the 2nd striking Orders which your number falls in but to date there is no key that matches names to numbers. Most of the 2nd issue Orders were awarded to Austrians.
