It is quite normal to find a mark under the crocodile, the mark being De Marchis. Look here Italian/German Africa Campaign Medal in Silver - R.M.Militaria
Welcome to the forum RM. The 2 medals are different. The one you have in your website is marked both underneath the croc and on the left. The one posted here is marked only underneath the croc.
