Curious Ost Medallie, a good one ?
Just got these two a while back.
A minty looking 63 with silver finish, and a unmarked with gray finish, never seen that before but bought it for fun.
The details are not as good as in the Silver one, feathers on chest and legs, on the head ect.. is also looks a tiny bit smaller to me. But I still like it
Does anyone know of a maker with gray finish ?
Or is it crap ?

It is good. All of the Eastern Front medals are zinc and they vary finish to finish (so many companies made them). The later ones really had a flat finish to them.

Smaller size could mean it was cast from a genuine example. The reverse details look fine to me but I agree with you that the feathers look a little soft.

I´ll take the grey one as an original even as its a little soft on the front, until someone sets me straight
(The swords on the backside r also different, not that it has to mean anything, just nice)
